From renovating historical landmarks to helping artists craft their masterpieces, Studio Design Group Architects has been committed to community culture for more than three decades. Our latest commercial design project is an especially exciting one for the Central Coast community – we’re building a permanent building at Sensorio in Paso Robles! Construction will start within the next year, so stay tuned for details.
In the meantime, our team had a blast volunteering at the fantasy garden. Entirely powered by solar, Field of Light at Sensorio is an illuminated art installation designed by the internationally acclaimed artist, Bruce Munro. It features a massive multi-acre colorful and immersive walk throughout the rolling Paso countryside. Our architects had the opportunity to help install the fiber optic cables throughout the field, as well as attend the opening night celebration.
Curious about this colorful world? CBS This Morning will be airing a segment spotlighting Field of Light at Sensorio tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23rd beginning with live shots from the installation at 7AM EST / 4AM PST. Interviews include artist Bruce Munro and founders Ken & Bobbi Hunter. For those of you who will want to watch via a device, tune in here.
If you haven’t been yet this summer, this is one Central Coast experience you can’t miss. Enjoy a glass of wine or tapas and stroll through gorgeous hills brought to life by color. You can purchase tickets here.
