Principal Architects Tim Ronda and Brian Starr are excited to share groundbreaking news out of San Luis Obispo: Work has begun on the Cuesta Rosa Assisted Living Facility, a two-story 26,875 SF assisted-living community with 35 private rooms. Construction is currently underway on this 1.1 acre property which will be completed by Spring 2023.
Designed around a central, two-story atrium with multiple seating areas, a statement fireplace and fountains, the siting of the facility takes full advantage of the sloping property to allow for patio and garden space for units on both the first and second floors.
Located just off of Grand Ave and situated between the Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church and United Methodist Church, the facility’s community rooms are angled to take advantage of sweeping views of the East Cuesta Ridge foothills.

These assisted living facilities offer 24-hour care for residents requiring daily assistance. The addition of memory care services includes specialized staff and a secure environment.
Additionally, Studio Design Group Architects has assisted in maintenance and upgrade projects as well as remodels at several Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the county including Bella Vista Health Center, Mission View Health Center, Bayside Care Center, and Marian Regional Medical Center Extended Care. Nursing homes/skilled nursing facilities provide 24-hour supervised care with physicians and nurses on staff. Skilled nursing houses seniors who need long-term medical care or short-term rehabilitation after a hospital procedure.
