Avila Village Inn Suites

Avila Village Inn Suites is a 3-story, 11,000-square-foot standalone expansion to the existing Avila Village Inn, located just off Highway 101 in the scenic Avila Valley. This boutique hotel extension offers a mix of features designed for upscale coastal getaways, including:

• Suites with private tubs on balconies
• Dog-friendly suites
• Multi-room suites and connecting rooms
• In-room fireplaces

The expansion, an infill project built between two existing buildings, presented several challenges. The design had to stay within local height restrictions, prompting the inclusion of vaulted ceilings on the top floor to maximize spatial comfort. Additionally, due to its location in a flood zone, the building is elevated while featuring a new guest drop-off zone that connects to the surrounding pedestrian paths without requiring stairs.

The architecture respects the style of the existing Inn and surrounding area, blending seamlessly into the charming Central Coast aesthetic. With rooms now open and welcoming guests, Avila Village Inn Suites enhances the guest experience with thoughtful amenities and an eye toward comfort, charm, and coastal elegance.
